My baby is 18 months old. He is a 32 weeks preterm n had right side hyderocel problem by birth. In some cases it gets cured automatically with time by the age of 1.5 yrs n in some cases it needs a surgery. My baby needed a surgery.We met Dr.Kshama Kulkarni at Surya hospital where she guided us very nicely. Madam explained to me about groin hernia in lot of detail. Initially I was reluctant to go for surgery of my baby as he was only 14 Months old. My baby's body is prone to intussusception and so far it recurred 3 times and Dr Kshama successfully reduced it by barium enema. Dr Kshama is always available on short notice and we feel lucky to have her looking after our daughter.

My 6mth baby had undescended testes and Dr. Kshama recommended to go for orchiopexy surgery to correct this. She handled the case very professionally and clarified all our doubts and concerns. She told that surgery should be done when baby age is 6 months.
